You know, in high school you learn that whole-broken-hearted-yearning thing from boys. And while you are still in that stage of your life you think that's the worst thing that will ever happen. But the worst damage inflicted during those years is definitely from other girls.
Watching my girls live through this time is like watching a car wreck on an eternal loop. You know what's going to happen--you can even tell them what is going to happen--but it's going to happen anyway.
Sigh. Today you get a sad house.
