guest post

It's a guest post...but the guest doesn't know she's posting.

Stolen from Eldest's Facebook page. This one is written by her:

The colors seem vivid,
Unlike before.
The night sky's velvet drapes across her shoulders,
the stars twinkle in her eyes.
Her smile shoots the suns rays,
A babbling brook echoes her laugh.

But all in all,
this day never changed.
Nothing's new,
nothing's different.
It just seems new,
she throws out her arms,
and spins about.
Leaving her footprints in the sand,
gently washed away.
But that's okay.
She's left her mark,
she's marked her presence.

And the day's sunlight warms her hand,
as she adds the final strokes.
Oil on canvas,
a perfect scene,
of a girl in a white dress,
against the velvet sky,
dancing in the moonlight,
a smile on her face,
and a twinkle in her eyes.

Thank goodness she's smiling again. Will she DIE when she knows you posted this or will she embrace her new public?

Oh, and she already has it out there on her Facebook page.

Does she have a beautiful book that she can write in with a beautiful pen that she can she keep these in? Or does this generation even like to do that?

Seems like these deserve better than just Facebook.

She has dysraphia, Rowan. If she wrote them in hand-writing, it doesn't matter how lovely the notebook, she could never read them again. :\

She has them stored on her computer in addition to Facebook.

Beautiful. I know you don't need me to tell you, but that is a talented girl you have there.

"She will not know. I am a ninja."

Love that too!

If she ever gets the urge to share her talent with the world, she should try deviantart.com.
