material matters

While we were unaware
the universe has been weaving;
Cloth of pale silvery thread
against deep indigo blue.
Twill formed of warp and weft;
strands entwined together.
The heddles, they have shifted,
the shuttle, it has passed,
and even the reed has pressed;
To produce
the fabric of we.
Fabric houses from here.

Beautiful. How strange and wonderful the universe can be, bringing together that which perhaps hadn't thought about union, but with marvelous results and that finding of where it ought to be.

Love this.

It's going to be an odd weekend in some ways. The last of the last things to do.....

It truly is a funny old life......

The idea the universe works "to produce the fabric of we" is beautiful. I love this imagery. The picture has so much depth.
